  1. In May this year I was involved in a collision with a car in Bracknell, a driver turned right in
front of me, I took a trip over the bonnet into the street beyond. I did report it on this ng at the
time. I suffered bruises/grazes, and an injury to my wrist. That, and the effect on my general
confidence, kept me off my the bike for pretty much all of the summer. Being 57 years young, each
summer is significant. I took advantage of the CTC legal help line. They, or really someone at the
legal firm they use, took me through the process and have recently secured a settlement with which I
am well pleased (legal things take a while). On the basis of my experience (let's hope it's the only
one) I would recommend anyone cycling around out there to very seriously consider CTC membership.

My experience too. I'm sure that without their legal dept, I would have got the sum total of the
square root of bugger all. They were professional, helpful and effective. All this for just the
    annual subscription?
