    for the other [censored] that continuously floats into my mailbox; Most of it
    hits the spam folder and I never see it. My spam filters are set really
    tight.

    message and forward them to [email hidden] (or [email hidden]) -
    they do investigate.

    On many of those phishing emails, the URL itself is tied to you
    email address. When you click the link, you're just confirmed
    your email address for them to sell to a bunch of other spammers.

    If you want to respond, delete the last sequence of characters to
    prevent them from confirming that they guessed your email
    address.

    ObFood: Boars head Italian roast beef and havarti sandwich for
    lunch. 3/4lb of ham and 1/4lb of cheese on a sub roll for $2.99.
    And I have half leftover for a midnight snack.

    This is a classic phish, no new angle here.

    Any e-mail that asks to you confirm secure information, and especially
    one the wants you to use a contained link can safely be considered a
    phish. And it is never amiss to report any e-mail that gives you the
    merest inking of red flags rising. Report the e-mail to PayPal or to
    your own internet provider.
