    Yep. A loose companion to _Stand on Zanzibar_, also a good read. I
    just picked up new copies of those two as well as _A Canticle for
    Leibowitz_ by Walter M. Miller, an older, somewhat dated, but still
    chilling post-apocalypse SF novel.

    BTW, the title "the sheep look up" was adapted from the poem "Lycidas"
    by John Milton:

    The hungry Sheep look up, and are not fed,
    But swoln with wind, and the rank mist they draw,
    Rot inwardly, and foul contagion spread ...

    getting ready'. That is the title of one of her songs. www.HollyNear.com
    I've been a fan of hers since the early 80's. Her voice is amazing..
