Phil Liggett, the broadcaster and commentator who helped give the Tour de France its identity in the United States with his English accent and trademark spot-on analysis, had no trouble endearing himself to the almost 300 people gathered at the Hyatt Regency for the 2007 International Cycling Center U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame Dinner last Saturday evening.Liggett immediately gave a shout out to the ''young girls from Trexlertown,'' that he spoke with earlier in the evening.
