In just her third-career UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup race, Katie Compton rode to a victory in the third race of the nine-race series on Sunday. Compton finished 34 seconds ahead of Dutchwoman Daphny van de Brand to capture the win. The victory was her second World Cup podium performance of the season after placing second in the season opener in Kalmthout, Belgium last month. After briefly holding the number-one ranking in the world, Compton is now ranked second behind van den Brand by just 15 points, 750-735.
