So that leaves the course for the Night Lap and Sundays Day Lap still
under wraps... you'll just have to enter to find out what sensational
trails @ Forrest you will be riding.

If you don't want to ride in all of the Kona24hr, then at least come
down for the Guided Friday Ride; a tour of some of the 'other' trails @
Forrest that won't be used in the Kona24hr.

The Forrest trails have to be ridden to be believed. I think that they might just be the best network of trails in Australia. Sorry that's 2 sentences....

certainly worth the trip. places to stay include a few B&B's. the Forrest Otway Retreat (google it) and the Caravan Park. or more plush accom in Colac, Apollo Bay or Lorne (all approx 35 mins away).
The Forrest pub has great meals and well, it's a pub, so drinks are there and it's across the street from the caravan park!

The Kona24hr, offers up some of the better selections of trails as well as offering a couple of guided rides on the Friday arvo that will take in a whole other section of the trails that the event won't be using... so much goodness, so little time!

The 3 lap format will certainly make life a little more enjoyable for the Solo riders, if for no other reason than to alleviate a little of the boredom that creeps in riding the same lap over and over and over again.
