Saw this, and thought about American sports salaries. Are there minima?
Can you buy a house with that amount?

Depending on the sport and the location of the house, yes. It'd be
hard to buy a house if you were a minor league baseball player.

Salaire brut in France isn't comparable to gross pay in the US. We had
to go through a pretty complicated set of calculations to figure out
what equivalents would be, and the comparison is nonlinear.
