women trying to run down the King with their van or ordering a Mafia style
hit on the King is a bit too much. Why do we want to show this type of
stuff to pre-teens that comprise a large part of the BK customer base?

Sure, it is supposed to be satire, but in a world where Santa can no
longer say "ho, ho, ho" and kids can't play tag in the schoolyard, we
should not be showing them that murder is acceptable.

That was a local story and got a bunch of coverage.

The girl was warned to knock it off not once but three separate times,
with forewarning of consequences. The rule was spelled out clearly. No
public displays of affection. Period. Which forestalls all of the
arguments about shades of gray... Do we really want to get into issues
about "how much contact, and with whom and whether or not there was
grinding involved"?.

There's a time and a place for everything. And if you can't go 6 hours
without flinging yourself onto your classmates three separate times,
then there's something else going on.

That new King figure needs to be run over. I don't thin they
created him to be that scary, and now they're trying to salvage
what's left of that promotional incarnation.

I'd like to know the real story behind that overgrown Oompa Lumpa

I'm really stuck on this one. I wholeheartedly agree that the premise of
the commercial is a bad message. However, the king is so damn creepy I was
glad to see someone put the hit on him.
