  1. Hiya!!

    I've got a Specialized Allez and need to get the frame number to send off for it to be 'datatagged'. I've found what I believe to be the frame number but have previously tried entering it into some bike register website only to be told it wasn't valid. I've got a piccy below of the bottom bracket featuring the code. It's a bit blurry, but it reads: P5JJ23066

    I've found some places that say it's the last 5 numbers, others say all the numbers (but no letters) and yet more say it is everything inc. letters!

    Just incase it's relevant, the other number above it reads: BI-1259

  2. Have you tried getting help from your local Specialized dealer or contacting the manufacturer? Talk to your LBS and they might be able to help you.

    I'm planning on popping in to my lovable LBS on Monday, but thought I'd post here to see if I get a reply before then. Thanks.
