  1. I would like to know if you have suggestions of shoes for someone who
does sprinting on a cement surface. That person actually plays hockey
on cement in an inside rink. He would need something light and that
has a good adherance on the floor. Thanks in advance!

Playing floor hockey isn't the same thing as sprinting. Sprinting
shoes basically have no heel, only a spike plate in the toe. They are
designed for doing just one thing: running forward, on the toes. This
isn't what a floor hockey game consists of, it's just one of the
    skills.

For floor hockey, you want shoes that have a heel, and that provide
lateral stability. I'm sure the floor hockey people have worked out
what these are. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floorball,
the players wear ``indoor sport shoes''. A Google search for these
    reveals plenty of hits.

Let the newsgroup know whether you also need a change of diapers and a
    burp.

Then have that person ask people who play hockey, this is a running
    newsgroup, moron.

I agree with Kaz. You need "indoor Hockey" shoes. "Sprinting" shoes are
designed for running all-out in a straight line, usually on a rubberized
track. Sprint spikes are not appropriate for anything else (for example,
if you had to change direction you would be in trouble)

    Cheers,
