Actually, I thought the most interesting thing was Cadel Evans' interview in ProCycling mag. He actually blasted his team for not resigning Horner. He was very honest and held nothing back. I guess he really did "go to bat" for Horner. However, if I was Evans and I knew the team was unable to come to terms financially with Horner, I'd see what I (or my personal sponsors, outside the team) could do to bridge that gap. I mean, the better Evans' support is, the better he'll do in the TDF and the greater his earnings potential.
