PaulMD claims that the search function in the forum he set up (cyclingforums.info or something like that?) searches this forum as well. Maybe you can try it out? Another possibility would be to use google to search the cyclingforums.com website.

Thanks for the help you guys. I have to admit, this is a first for me after visiting literally hundreds of forums to find one without a search function. 😄

Was this disabling related to the spambots-i.e. if it is a tool the spambots use maybe disabling reduced the amount of spamming.
