Additionally, they are so enthralled by Bruyneel that many of them actually think of Astana as an "American" team. I still cannot get past that.

I belong to CSC's forum and have for more than a year. They have their hardcore supporters too but most of them are pretty level-headed and have good conversations about cycling. It is amazing to see the contrast when you look at the Paceline and the sheer volume of nonsensical posts.

actually, CSC forums are just as bad. They think Daamsgard's program is actually effective.

They think Jaksche was lying.

They are quick to forget Cecchini history at CSC teaching their doctors, and Riis' history.

Yes, it can be as bad, especially about Jaksche.

They were all pretty stunned and angry over Riis' confession last year. It was directed towards him.

But, you're correct that they probably assume everything is clean now.

I know I would like to think things are better but logic tells me it'll take years to fix it and the organizations have to change too.

They all should have realised then, that the performance was not clean, nor was Daamsgard's program effective.

Guess that is why Johan must have chosen to go with the same program then, eh?

I can COMPLETELY understand his beef with Ivan Basso's 2006 performance in the Giro. Oh, wait, that was "clean" though because he was only going to "attempt" to dope for the Tour (please note the heavy sarcasm).

I would like to see if Andy can continue to show he's something.

I remember some amazement at his good ITT in the Giro when he brother absolutely sucks at it.

Frank certainly faded in 2007 compared to 2006. He's not GT caliber, IMO.

The Schlecks send up all of the red flags in my book. Its a shame because I really enjoy watching both of them ride. Maybe I'm just jaded.
