  1. March 9th is the time change. Means 1 hr more daylight for working out after work! Aren't you gonna be happy!

Yeah, I gotta lose 6 lbs this Spring before Houston's hot summer!

  2. Extra daylight hours after work - like it matters. We just got another 17 - 20 cm snow (about 8 inches for you Americans) and there is no end in sight. Except for a brief thaw in January, we've had snow on the ground for almost 4 months, and I'm thinking we might have another month to go before it finally disappears.

On a more positive note, I actually got through this winter without putting on any weight. 5'11" and 158 lbs. My wife calls me skeletor and says I look ill (because a year ago I was at 177).

  3. Houston Winters - 60 to 75 F - no snow! Only bad side is biking in the Dark. That's why I got a Light & Motion Arc Ultra and 2 Superflashes.

Summer [in Houston] is when I hibernate because it's so hot and humid!

Terriffic! That's the perfect way to not acclimate to the environment! Way to go!

OK, I need a road bike that has air conditioning!

  6. Another 5 cm snow supposed to arrive Friday, with another 15 cm planned for Saturday.

    Sigh.

I've actually started thinking about moving to Florida when I retire. How stereotypical can one get. Except I hear the real estate prices down there are falling, and the Canadian $ is going up.

Wait till you get slammed by hurricanes, and then you will think of heading back up north. :p

  8. Can't wait! I ride most mornings at 4:30am for an hour before work. Now I'll be able to get in a morning workout AND a night workout.

Temps here are wonderful! 60+ degrees from here on out in Spring. (Charlotte, NC)
