No no no. This would be so cool! A car with a modal interface! I've thought about incorporating a drum machine into the car's audio, so that when the car is stationary you can play the drums via the buttons on the steering wheel.
Better still, piezo sensors around the centre "horn button" area. Much better pickups than normal buttons.
And it would remain as a horn button too, lighter taps activate drums, heavier presses activate the horn.
