serious shoulder injury after falling at a Peak District beauty spot.
The 25-year-old man was hurt as he rode downhill from Mam Tor ridge at
Hollins Cross, between Castleton and Edale, on Monday morning.
Mountain rescue teams from Buxton and Edale, including doctor, carried
the injured rider by stretcher down a steep hillside to a farm.
He was transferred to an ambulance and taken to the Northern General
Hospital, Sheffield, for treatment.
