You overrated Contador. He was far from Grabsch and Evans... He wasn't even looking good on his bike. I think we all thought he'd be better. Not that he was totally bad, his result is still respectable, but far from Grabsch and Evans (his position and style especially). Maybe something's going on in Astana.

I disagree I think Contador was about where he should be in relation to Evans, Evans is the better time trialer

I know this is late but half way through the stage to Ventoux.

I don't see Evans attacking today - looks to me that Evans and Contador are riding this race for a podium spot and not for overall GC.
And they're watching each other like hawks.

Evans weak spot is the lack of strength for the TDF : that will be his downfall
(I dearly love see CE win the TDF).

Lack of strength and severe lack of team. If he'd had one or two decent domestiques in the past 2 tours he may have won.

Yep Silence Lotto should have bought a couple of out and out climbers to support CE.

Last year he only had that lump of [censored] Popyvoych as support in the mountain.
