  1. from taking vitamin pills? We'll assume for the sake of discussion that these would be of high
quality & contain all they're supposed to contain.

As I've mentioned before, I don't supplement my food diet with vitamins. Neither did my husband for
years, but in about the last 3 or 4, he's been taking a multivitamin (plus a few other supplements)
on the behest of his sister, who must be the Vitamin Queen of Los Angeles County.

When I mentioned to others that neither of us notices a difference in health since taking these
vitamins on my husband's part (he was healthy before he took them & he's healthy now), almost to a
person they say he should change brands; that what he's takng doesn't seem to be doing its job. I
get the impression that maybe the majority of people associate vitamin pills with some sort of
    "pep pills".

So my question is, does/should taking vitamin pills actually make one "feel different"?

If your diet is otherwise well balanced, and you are not getting sick often, you are getting the
    result you should expect.

Not unless you have some horrid deficiency disease that the pills manage to correct. I take
supplements on the theory that they may do me some good down the road, but they've never made me
    feel any different.
