    [LEFT]My mom bought this bike after graduating college sometime in the late 80's. She gave it to me to take to college, so I took it upon my self to spruce it up a little bit, and I really enjoy riding it. I was wondering if anyone on here could help me identify it. Obviously the easton bar is not original, nor are the specialized tires.

    Components that will help identify the bike:
    -Biopace triple
    -Deore rear der.
    -Mostly Shimano 600 components (headset, original brake levers, shifters)
    -White brake/shift housing

    i found this webpage that has links to old cannondale catalogs. it might be helpful in identifying your bike. looks nice, by the way. love the color.

    Is that a ST600 by any chance? A friend of mine had a frame just like it, but it was red. Tried looking it up, but couldn't find much on it.

    Hi,

    I have the same exact bike. Bike is a 1987 cannondale st600.
    the month/day/year is the 3rd through the 6th number on the serial code.

    example 21 040987 104 size 21" date made is 04/09/87 amount made 104

    i just saw one of these bid up to $335 USD on ebay.
    here is a link to a catalog from 1987, i found it useful.

    Where would the serial code be located on the bike?

    I've got a Cannondale that I bought new in the mid 80's, but I don't remember the exact year....
