I thought no 7900 SRM was going to be made. From the Competitive Cyclist website re the current Shimano SRM:
"Some other notes of interest here: This system is built from the Dura Ace 7800 10-speed generation crankset. It is not the 7900 version, and no 7900 version will be forthcoming due to its design." (emphasis added)

When you look at their latest product catalog there's a version that is part 7900 (rings) and part 7800 (arms). It looks like the only real difference is that the PowerMeter is machined to mate with the 7900 rings.Dave
