....today and had a blast! The temp was about 58 degrees when I left and probably in the mid sixties by the time I got home. That's a very warm morning for Minnesota this time of year.
I wanted to take it easy for my first ride, but a lot of the easier bike routes I do are still closed because of the rivers flooding.
So, I was forced to take a route that is very hilly and I rode it better than I did last fall.
It's only 24 miles and I held back on my effort level because I just sure I would really struggle on the final 2 mile climb.
But, I climbed the hills easier than I usually do later in the year, so I'm thinking that all the miles I did on the elliptical trainer in the basement the past 2 months paid off.
I feel great right now, of course I'll probably be on the forum tomorrow whining about sore seat bones...
