Well, after a LOT of looking around, testing bikes, I am down to two MTB bikes. Yes, not a cross bike for me.
But, what to go for, a Rockhopper SL Expert or a Trek 6500?

Well, the Rockchopper SL EXPERT has gears from Shimano, RD SLX, hydraulic **** front and rear.
Trek 6500, Shimano Deore gear and disc breaks, with out oil.Hope these help.
