    [FONT=Arial]What: An un-official, fun points race up 13 of the steepest hills in the Glastonbury area.[/FONT]
    [FONT=Arial]When: 9am, November 21st[/FONT]
    [FONT=Arial]Where: Cycling Concept’s Glastonbury store at 2343 Main St.[/FONT]
    [FONT=Arial]How Much: $5. The top three places overall will receive a bonus for their efforts at the top of the 13th hill. Additional prizes will be given out to encourage all rider levels to come out and participate. Register day of.[/FONT]
    [FONT=Arial]How it Works: Riders will follow a pace car to each climb at a leisurely pace. At the base of each hill an official will signal the beginning of the sprint with a blow of a whistle. Another official will be waiting at the top of the hill to record the top 5 places. [/FONT]

    2010 Cycling Concepts Dirty Dozen Hill Race

    Where:
    Cycling Concepts in Glastonbury
    2343 Main St
    Glastonbury, CT 06033
    860-633-3444

    When:
    Saturday October 30th, 9:30 am.

    How it works:
    As a controlled group we will ride a 40-mile loop that contains 13 tough hills. All riders will remain behind an official until he blows a whistle to signify the beginning of the sprint to the top of that hill. The riders will regroup at the top of each hill and make their way to the next hill.

    Placing:
    There will be two categories: “open” and “competition”. You may choose which category you wish to race within although riders below 30 years of age must race within the “competition” category. Each hill will have an overall winner as well as first, second, and third place for each category.

    Entry:
    $5. Yep, that’s all!

    Prizes:
    There will be a prize of $5 to the winner of each hill. First, second, and third place overall in each category will also be given a prize also. All riders must finish the race to collect their prizes.
