I have been steel for the past 15 years and I was looking at full suspension.
What is the best buy out there today?
Thanks Tim

There are two different types of mountain bikes. The two different types are hard tail (only a front suspension) and also a full suspension mountain bike. Both of these types have their advantages and disadvantages.

What's the "best buy" will differ wildly with the kind of riding you intend to do, how picky you are as a rider, how big you are and what your budget is.
If you've been riding rigids until now I'm assuming you're into XC and not DH/AM. You're probably not into racing either. Then simply go for the nicest bike you can afford that hasn't got a stupid-light race spec. Basically means that you shouldn't aim below 10 kg.
