    Howdy Everybody,

    I have been cycling for 2 years now on a road bike that cost €300 and I am now investing in my first decent road bike. I have a budget of around €1000 and I have been looking at either a Trek 2.1, Cube Attempt or a Specialized Allez.

    Does anybody ride any of these bikes? Would they recommend it? Pros and cons?

    Any other bikes at this price that people would recommend?

    I appreciate any help or comments.

    your budget is ok, i think you can filter those options for the one with better componentry, like having a Shimano 105 groupset,

    If you can, test ride each of these bikes. Buy the one that feels best.
