1. Same price range but would like feedback on which bike is better. CAAD has Shimano 105 shifters vs. Dolce with Shram Apex. Is one easier to use/more comfortable than the other?

  2. Both bikes are equal in quality. SRAM did have some previous quality issues but they have sorted them out and seem to have gotten better. Both bikes are easy to use. The Shimano shifters on the CAAD 10 use two levers per handle, one to up shift and one to down shift. The SRAM shifters use a single lever and a shifting system called "Double Tap" where basically you push it once to up shift. To down shift, you push it halfway, release it and then push it again. The bikes are both good bikes. In this case, you are just going to have to ride both and decide which one you like best. Some people really like SRAM's double tap but I prefer Shimano. To me, Cannondale has a more relaxed feel to the Specialized but that is just a matter of personal preference. Bottom line is ride them and buy the one you like best.

  3. Thank you! I got the CAAD10 and love it!

  4. Good for you, Tamaynj!

    That's a really nice bicycle.
