First off, welcome to Cycling Forums!

On to the good part...

Please understand that the people here have lives of their own away from the forums (at least most do). It may take some time before they can read through all the posts since they logged off.

Regarding your post - "Newbie", it is usually helpful that you write something specific about what you need/want to be answered in the title of your post. Placing it in the proper topic (i.e. Bike Buying Advice) helps a lot. Otherwise, people might just treat it as spam.

Also before you post, do a search of your question first. Unless it's something very specific, it could have been addressed in a previous topic already.
