Well if it's the only then it's not standard.

Meh.
Worked with the BMX press-ins (ancestor to BB30), and ran Race Face X-Type for a couple years; nothing has convinced me of any superiority over Octalink or ISIS.
And THIS sounds like a new BB shell for the frame is needed, not exactly retrofit-friendly.
Now, that makes:
1. Ashtabula (yes, on cheaper bikes, I know)
2. French screw-in (obsolete)
3. Italian screw-in (also...)
4. English screw-in (covers SQ Tpr, ISIS, Octa, EXT)
5. BB30
6. 92mm press-in (Shimano-backed)
7. This.7 different BB setups, not mutually compatible.
NEEDED? Doubtful.

BBright is made to fit Cervelo's asymmetric BBright BB shells. It's claimed to be an open standard......in some Cervelo fantasy world. So long as manufacturers keep making English threaded BB shells, we'll be able to fend of the End of Days. I don't see the death of the threaded BB happening anytime in the near or middle distant future. While I'm chuffed with my Campy external BB, I can't say that it's in any way better than a square taper BB.
