I have a chance to pick up a 2004 Kona Kikapu that is in really decent shape or I have also landed on a hard tail 2011 Jamis X3 new old stock...I know ones FS and ones HT...my question is both bikes are within $50 of each other , what in general opinion would be a better way to go ? Leaving out exact uses, etc...just on principal of bike quality and such...just looking for how others look at what I'm looking at Thanks for any input!!

50 dollars is not a deal breaker for a bike purchase, i guess the Jamis would be better
