I am looking to purchase a new mountain bike. I have a GIANT "hybrid" thats approx 5 years old. I haven't ridden that much, but am looking to change that. I have been to my local bike stores and have looked at several models. I am looking in the $500-$600 price range. I know that's fairly entry level but cant afford to go all out. I was shown the GIANT 2014 Talon for $570, and it seemed to have a lot of features for that price. However, since I am so new to this, I am looking for some additional assistance. Any help you all could provide would be GREATLY appreciated.
