Ok guys. I am fairly new to road cycling and I need some advise.
I got a Carrera TDF fom Halfords when it was on sale (pretty nice components for the price). However, I don't like the pedals that it came with.
Here's the problem. We messed up my brother's crankset thread because either I am really really bad at threading, or the pedals we used were bad.
So his crankset is supposed to take in 9/16 pedals. We bought some cheap flat pedals and not long after one of them started coming off and the thread on the crankset was messed up.
These are the ones we tried:

I kinda like these for my bike:

But the thread on these looks like the one that messed up bro's crankset.
Specs for the ones I want:
- Size(mm):119 x 90 x 25( L x W x H)
- Weight:409g
- Diameter of the screw head:14.28mm
We also have Wellgo M-19 pair but I don't want to get into that as I only use the bike couple of times a week for commuting to university.
I also don't want to spend that much on pedals.
Please help me out.
