Yikes, I gotta rant about this. They held it for many years in Livingston County, 40 miles W. of Detroit, which is semi-rural, a great place to ride, generally light traffic.
This year, right in the thick of Ann Arbor, a larger city, with suburbs, a lot of traffic, two major freeways, and the University of Michigan. Downtown is very congested, heavy traffic, street parking, a lot of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, so a lot of obstacles. Fine if you're with the pack and get the police escort. If you break away on your own, either too fast or too slow, good luck playing dodge-'em.
Why, ADA Michigan? Why????????
