My tube size is 700x35/43c and my rims are araya px35 not sure how to measure the rim and i want to get the size right so i can buy a new rim and tire.

The Araya PX-35 dates to the early 1990's. I found several manufactures that spec'd that rim with Chen Shin 700c x 35 MM tires.

Just take your rim into a local bike shop and they'll be able to fit the correct size tire to it.
