  1. I have a set of shimano altus c10 brakes on my bike. I just got my new shifters in today but i cant figure out how to loosen the clamp! There is no bolt on the clamp like usual.

Here is a link to similiar pair on ebay ebay.com371227301287

How do i adjust these so i can install my new shifters?

  2. Unhook brake cable from lever, pull lever back and peer inside. There's probably an Allen head screw lurking in there which pulls the clamp tight around the bar.
