  1. Hi all,
I have recently gotten involve with tracking my rides; I started out with map my ride then moved over to strava, got a heart rate monitor, and now have a heart rate monitor and a cadence monitor (ticker x and wahoo SC), my question then is now that I have all of this neat data, What do/can i do with it?

For example is there a way to download the data to excel and make some neat little tracking graphs?
Strange as it is Im not the greatest with maths; however, numbers get me excited as these specifically pertain to my own bio-engine. I would hope, eventually to be able to graph power vs elevation, speed vs elevation, weight vs speed, and possibly some others that might be interesting to look at. It might be fun to keep track of nutrition and caloric intake vs average power too. Also; as i dont have a power meter these will all be rough estimates, but as long as I have some data I would like to play with it.

Thanks for reading, and though this might not make complete sense any and all thoughts, questions, comments and concerns are greatly appreciated.

  2. Yes, it makes sense. Whether or not you can directly download data depends on the devices you are using - the owners manual tells you what it can and can't do.

The real question is what is your purpose? Training for races or just riding for fun, or for weight loss or health? What you could do with the info depends on your goals.

  3. 😄

Why are you collecting all dat data again? 😄

  4. 7 of 9...your ass will be laminated!

    Some useful information here: americanroadcycling.comindex.aspx

Also, search the web. There are some downloadable spreadsheets available, but you have to plug your data into them.

  5. i mostly ride for fun. Though, I guess, I race against myself? And sure, I could drop a few pounds, too.

Thanks for the website, lots of good info on that one.

    I don't get the video--make good choices.

  6. wait, no... I get it now.
