Don’t laugh because this is no joke. I just remembered the kids who participated in the street games here. I saw then chewing something. When I asked, I was surprised that they were chewing ginger to give them stamina. I don’t know if that is a new invention but there seems to be a sense to that. Ginger is somewhat spicy and if you are fighting off the taste of ginger then you may be spiking your body to make an effort. Perhaps ginger has a positive effect for the stamina. What do you think?

I think it is a personal decision as I have never read anywhere that I can get stamina by taking ginger. Also, the flavor of ginger is one that I don't enjoy taking as well.

Some people believe this, in part because people tell that ginger can improve sexual stamina, but a research done showed no improvement on exercise performance, at least in a study among female Iranian athletes: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3665022/
