Sadly you are far too close to correct. People with so little experience that you would be surprised that they can even ride a bike, "prove" their points by misinterpreted articles written by people who ride commuter bikes. Imagine getting your advice from someone that gets their entire knowledge of cycling from watching re-runs of the Tour de France.While it can be very irritating, leaving what COULD be a helpful forum probably isn't the answer because on many of the other forums if you say someone is being stupid they kick you off. At least here the moderators don't make such decisions.
