Hey fellow cyclists,
Im considering making the switch to a touring bike for my main mode of transportation and Im currently looking at options under $600. Ive been hearing a lot about tubeless conversion lately, and Im curious about the pros and cons of making the switch. Specifically, Im wondering if its a hassle to convert to tubeless and what the learning curve is like.
Ive heard that tubeless tires can offer better puncture resistance and lower rolling resistance, which is definitely appealing for long-distance rides. But Ive also heard that the conversion process can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially for beginners.
So, for those of you who have made the switch to tubeless, what was your experience like? Was it worth the hassle, or would you recommend sticking with traditional tube-style tires? And if you did find it to be a hassle, do you have any tips or tricks for making the conversion process smoother?
Im open to hearing all your thoughts and experiences, as Im still on the fence about whether or not to make the switch. And Im sure I cant be the only one considering this, so lets start a conversation and help each other out!
Thanks in advance for your insights and advice.
Best,
Codencopple
