Are you guys seriously still debating the nuances of electronic groupset compatibility? Its 2023, and were still stuck on whether Shimanos 12-speed Di2 is compatible with Campys latest range? Come on, folks! The real question is, who cares? Its all just a bunch of overpriced, overly complicated tech thats only going to leave you stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery or a faulty sensor.
And dont even get me started on the so-called standards that these manufacturers are peddling. Newsflash: there is no standard! Its all just a marketing ploy to get you to buy their latest and greatest (and most expensive) components. I mean, who needs backwards compatibility when you can just sell people a whole new groupset, right?
So, lets cut to the chase: is anyone actually using this stuff in the real world, or are we all just a bunch of keyboard warriors arguing over specs and tech charts? And if you are using it, hows that working out for you? Are you really getting the performance gains that the manufacturers promise, or are you just getting a bunch of headaches and expensive repair bills?
