  1. Whole Wheat Pie Crust

    *This makes a double crust pie. Blend together: 1 cup oil 1 1/2 tsp. salt Add:
    2/3 cup hot water Pour slowly over: 3 cups sifted whole wheat pastry flour (or other combination)

    Blend together the oil and salt. Add hot water Stir as little as possible. Round up into a ball.
    Divide and roll out between wax paper (moisten counter top to avoid sliding). Peel off top paper.
    Place crust in pie plate --- paper side up. Peel off other piece of paper and fit evenly into pie
    pan. Trim or flute edges. Ready for baking. Source: Ten Talents
