If you're going to try to flame, I urge you to look into the fun and games of why Type 2 diabetics
actually gain all the weight and get so hungry and eat all this junk food (which is in some cases
*due* to the onset of Type
2). You'll see that to some extent, the cart is before the horse here.

I DID that last night OUCH Actually, I was holding coffee in my hand, sipping from it when a cop
pulled out in front of me lights and sirens going. I jambed on the brakes, then spent the next 5
mins trying not to sit down, and, at the same time, not to kill myself or anyone else on I95 in
heavy traffic

It was drinkable, so I was merely VERY uncomfortable, not injured. Spent the next 20 mins with the
AC on full and focused at my lap!!!

("Idiot Nation"😉) that they do so in the USA. They don't use second rate weapons like guns,
though, they go to the more extreme Weapons of Mass Diabetes, namely high pressure sales. I quote

US standards on "obesity" have been lowered.

NEXT. schools in the US have ALWAYS sold beverages. The only difference is that they are now
charging the drink makers fior exclusivity.

When I was in high school, we had a coke machine. and the parents of most of the kids now in hich
school had not been born yet.

The school systems do NOT promote soft drinks - quite the oposite. BUT, kids who buy from the
vending machines on break don't sneak off to buy accross the street.

Yes, the TV world is not most of the US. Currently we are plagued by the select group in the media
that have tried to redefine people here. It mostly a biased illusion but is having an effect on the
next generation.

If I were to indict the education system it would the attempt to make everyone a genius. All it
achieves is a very disturbed group of people that try to find an out from some of the current
"external" fixes.

You must realize the current concept that the inherent intelligence of each person can be set by a
teacher is pure nonsense.

The concept that I have been told about in Europe of setting a vocational path to fit a persons
needs makes more sense.

We are driving people crazy here today by phony expectations. Food is several layers down the list.
In pre WW2 days my school lunch was a Pepsi and a Moon pie.

Today we are setting goals that we are not genetically prepared to handle.
