I have purchased a Fausto Coppi bike and it was purportedly a Fiorelli-built frame for Coppi. I would like to know year and model so I may equip it accordingly. So far, have a Coppi pantographed Campagnolo Nuovo Record crank, a Selle numbered edition Coppi seat and Ambrosio clincher wheels. Plan is Sachs or Suntour derrailleurs and shifter a rear cog suitable for flat and rolling hills. Depending on age, Universal, Weinman or Balilla brakes and TTT stem and handlebars. But, I would like the kit to be of the same vintage as the frame.
So, I would need a resource or database, to determine age and, ideally, make sure thst it was made for Coppi.

Serial number is 8072, so it is the 80th frame of 1972. My understanding is that Fiorelli frontloaded Coppi's frames into his manufacturing schedule, so it is very likely a Fiorelli/Coppi frame. I would like to see a database from the manufacturer to ascertain more narrowly what type frame, etc. Because it is not a mint frame, or a complete bike, I can take some liberties on equipment. The easy way would be to "campy-it-out", but for my use, I'd prefer to get Cyclone or Superbe. Shifters and gears and more specialized brakes.
