Well I spent a couple of nights wild camping in the Carneddau from Friday to Sunday. Didnt summit as
many peaks or explore as much of the area as I would have wanted. The wind on the peaks was pretty
strong with fog, rain and hail.
Started at Aber Falls and stayed around Bethesda, I think we summitted Garnedd Uchaf, Drosgl and a
couple of small ones but my navigation skills need some work. The weather kept us from moving
further out across the peaks.
These were the main mountains we summitted can anybody identify them from these photos as my
navigation skills leave alot to be desired.

Hope someone can help clarify what we climbed but my map reading needs improvement and it was very
foggy etc. Still not bad for a first time, we could have gone further but decided to stay safe given
the weather.
BTW we camped on Saturday in a vally facing Bethesda sheltered on all sides except for the west. The
night was eventful with strong wind and rain. A pony or a sheep tried to push the tent down and
later that night I heard the sound of thunder.
There was a wierd sound coming from the tent during the storm, like things zipping down the walls
of the tent, bzzz bzzz pzzzzt I wondered if it was linked to the thunder like the tent charging up
to be stuck.
hmmm.
