Is it just me or does anyone else find it ridiculous that Zwifts social media groups are still not open to the public, and instead, you have to jump through hoops to join them, and even then, its not guaranteed? I mean, whats the point of having social media groups if theyre not easily accessible to everyone? And dont even get me started on the whole request to join process - its like theyre trying to create some sort of exclusive club, rather than a community for cyclists.
Ive tried searching online for a straightforward answer on how to join these groups, but all I can find are vague instructions and cryptic messages from Zwift moderators. Its like theyre intentionally making it difficult for people to join.
Can someone please explain to me why Zwifts social media groups are so hard to join, and whats the best way to go about it? Is it really necessary to have a certain level of experience or a specific type of bike to be part of these groups? And whats the deal with the approval process - do they really need to vet every single person who wants to join?
Im not trying to be dramatic, but it feels like Zwift is creating a bit of a clique, and Im not sure thats what the cycling community is all about.
