| Yes, same sort of effect, getting bluer with distance, it's a natural effect.

| I wasn't consciously aware of it, but it probably did. The brain has a habit of compensating and
| making clouds look white, unless you look really closely.
Yes, I can't remember the last time I seen such a sky! But it depends on what you're looking for and
concentrating on I guess.

| Indeed, but a bit of land usually improves the shot, unless the land is [censored]. Tree silhouettes are
| good if you can't find anything better.
Yes, I agree. I guess that land can also give a sense of scale to a shot, which is always
nice to know.

Don't ask me, I don't know!

| To be honest, although I took many shots that had autumn colours in them, I don't recall
| specifically taking any "autumn colours" shots. In other words, I didn't think about the
| competition and I didn't look for shots that would epitomise autumn. Whether I've taken any by
| accident I don't know, but I wasn't looking out for them.
I'm the same - the fact I was out taking photos during Autumn means that I must have some eligible
entries, although they were not taken with the thought of entering a competition. (what
competiton!?)
