Ive been noticing that a lot of people on this forum are having issues with TrainerRoad workout data sync issues on Windows, and yet the official support channels seem to be utterly clueless about how to fix it. Im starting to think that maybe the real problem isnt with the software or the users, but with the quality of the Windows operating system itself. I mean, lets be real, how many of you are still running Windows 10 or older? Dont you think that maybe, just maybe, the issue is that youre all stuck in the dark ages of operating systems?
Ive seen people trying all sorts of fixes like reinstalling the app, resetting their account, and even doing a full system restore, but its all just a bunch of band-aids on a bullet wound. The real issue is that Windows is just not designed to handle the kind of data sync that TrainerRoad requires. I mean, have you guys even looked at the system requirements for TrainerRoad? It says right there that its compatible with Windows 10 and later, but Im willing to bet that most of you are still running Windows 7 or 8.
So heres the question: instead of trying to find workarounds and fixes for this issue, why not just upgrade to a real operating system like macOS or Linux? I mean, theyre not perfect, but at least theyre not ancient relics like Windows. And before you start shouting about how you cant afford a new computer or how youre not tech-savvy enough to switch, let me tell you that those are just excuses. If youre serious about getting your workout data to sync correctly, then you need to be willing to put in the effort to upgrade your system.
So, come on, folks, lets hear it. How many of you are still running Windows and having issues with TrainerRoad? And how many of you are just too afraid to make the switch to a better operating system?
