Or are you all just going to keep spewing the same generic nonsense about squats and lunges being the answer to every cycling-related question.
Furthermore, whats the scientific basis for the exercises you recommend, and how do you account for the differences in muscle recruitment patterns between high-cadence and low-cadence pedaling, or between uphill and downhill riding. Do you even understand the concept of muscle fiber type and how it relates to cycling performance, or are you just making it up as you go along.

Im not looking for any fluffy responses or anecdotes about how strength training helped you win some local cat 4 crit, I want to see some actual data and scientific evidence to back up your claims. Anything less is just noise.
