Is the Novara Forza an upgrade nightmare, or can you actually swap out its components without too much fuss later on? Ive heard rumors that the bikes frame and general design are pretty upgrade-friendly, but Im not convinced - can you really slap a new groupset or wheels on without having to mess with the brakes, crank, and other major components? What about the seatpost, is it compatible with newer dropper posts or are you stuck with a fixed post? And lets not forget about the wheels - are they tubeless-ready or will you have to swap them out entirely if you want to go tubeless?
Assuming you can upgrade the components, are there any major compatibility issues to worry about? For example, will the newer groupsets play nice with the frames cable routing, or will you have to do some creative problem-solving to get everything working together? And what about the frames material - will aluminum or steel components be compatible, or will you have to stick with whatever material the original components are made of?
If you do have to swap out the wheels or other major components, are there any major obstacles to overcome - like having to re-dish the wheel or mess with the bottom bracket? And are there any recommendations for which components to upgrade first - like should you focus on the groupset, wheels, or something else entirely?
Lastly, is it even worth upgrading the Novara Forza at all, or would you be better off just selling it and buying a newer bike with better components right off the bat? Is the Forzas frame and design robust enough to handle newer, more high-end components, or would you be throwing good money after bad by trying to upgrade it?
