Can weight training even remotely improve your cycling cadence during climbs if the average cyclist is mostly just spinning their wheels and going through the motions without any real understanding of proper bike fit, gearing, and technique, and lets be real, probably still riding with a too-heavy, inefficiently-designed bike, not to mention likely neglecting flexibility and mobility exercises that would make a far bigger difference in their overall cycling performance than any amount of weightlifting could ever hope to, and dont even get me started on the utter lack of high-intensity interval training in most cyclists workouts which is probably the real key to improving cadence and endurance, so what exactly are we expecting weight training to accomplish here, magical gains or something?
