Can we for once have a straightforward answer to the simple question of how much carbohydrate and protein intake is required per hour for optimal performance, rather than being told to experiment and find what works for us.
Doesnt it make sense that if were going to be spending several hours in the saddle, we should be aiming for a fueling strategy that is grounded in actual scientific evidence rather than relying on a gut feeling or what the pros are doing.
